The dress code applies to all students on campus and off campus, school-approved activities. Teachers may at any time counsel with students about attire that is not acceptable. Where there is doubt that students are not observing the standards of dress, the principal or his/her designee will render the final authority. The following rules will serve as general guidelines for appropriate dress and personal appearance. These guidelines apply at all times when a student is on school property or on school trips.

Cell phones are collected every morning and kept at the front office until the end of the school day. Cell phones and smart watches are not allowed in class at any time without explicit permission.
Briarfield Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen cell phones or smart watches. Cell phones and smart watches should remain out of sight and only used with explicit permission. Any violation of this rule is subject to disciplinary action and can result in the cell phone or smart watch being confiscated. Headphones, photographs, and videos are not allowed.
